Scalloping Season Special! Double Dipping Adventure with Capt. Don ChanceySnorkel your day away with Capt. Don Chancey of Flats Chance Charters. Based out of Homosassa, Capt. Don will leave the docks when it's convenient for you. Accommodating up to six people on a 24 foot Carolina Skiff, your party can enjoy a quick ride out to the scallop grounds to spend time snorkeling in pristine grass flats on the nature Coast. Once you've had your fill of salt water and scalloping, Capt. Don recommends adding to your adventure by requesting his double dipping day, which includes an hour of swimming at the Blue Waters (freshwater springs located at the headwaters of the Homosassa River).
$200 up to four people, $50 each additional person. Additional 1-hour Blue Waters swim $50 for entire party.

Spend time on the water with Captain Mike Byron. He is a captain with 30 years of experience in the area and a retired Marine Biology teacher from the local school system. Adults and children alike will be sure to have a fun-filled day traveling through various scenic estuaries as we make our way offshore to the Gulf of Mexico.
The ride will be relaxing as you sit back in my custom built 24 ft Ken Kraft flats boat. As we travel, I will be sure to share my stories and knowledge of the various marine life and local history sites.
